There are two types of updates: updating themes and plugins, and updating content. Because sometimes these updates can be technical and must be completed at least once per week to defend against hackers, we recommend signing up for one of our affordable monthly maintenance plans below.

As for text or image updates, we prefer to update it to ensure all is done properly but we’re also happy to train you how to do it if you prefer.

We prefer to build your site using WordPress but since most content management systems are similar in structure, we can use a different platform if you require it.

Most basic websites take between 15-25 hours to design, depending on several factors. We don’t charge a flat fee because no two sites are alike in the complexity or time or it takes to complete. Once we know more about your needs, we’ll estimate the costs for you.

Required costs vary between hosts but your URL, or domain name, costs around $15 per year and your host, where your website “lives,” costs around $115 per year.

We highly recommend purchasing an SSL certificate, about $80/year, website backups, $36 per year, and at minimum a basic security package through your host, $100 per year for the bare minimum.

If you have a preference for a certain host, we are happy to use them. Otherwise, we will set you up with a Secure Server account, a sub-company of Godaddy, under our company account and you’ll receive our discounted rates.
